CANAL Q CONSIDERED THE BEST ENTERTAINMENT CHANNEL IN PORTUGAL
 
Canal Q, received yesterday the prize for best entertainment channel in Portugal by one of the top media and advertising organizations in the Country: Meios & Publicidade.
 
Canal Q won over 2 of the top cable channels in Portugal: SIC Radical and SIC Mulher, who were competing in same category.  
 
Last year, the channel which is part of Produções Ficticias Group, produced over 700 hours of original content in Portuguese and expanded its presence abroad, currently airing in Angola , Mozambique, France, Monaco and Andorra.
 
Canal Q also won the Gold prize at the Portuguese Creative Club Festival, for the total rebranding in its 4th anniversary.   
 
And at the fourth year , justice was made and is now considered the bastion of creativity in Portuguese Television.

Gonçalo Félix da Costa has started his career in the financial and strategic marketing areas in consulting companies. Over the past eight years, as Executive Director of Produções Fictícias, has dedicated his work in the production of content for multiple platforms, especially for television, both in general and in cable channels. He is also the co-founder and CEO of the Canal Q.

 O Canal Q recebeu ontem o prémio da Meios & Publicidade para Melhor Canal de Entretenimento Nacional, vencendo à SIC Radical e à SIC Mulher, que competiam na mesma categoria.

No último ano, o canal das Produções Fictícias produziu cerca de 700 horas de conteúdo original em português e reforçou a sua presença no estrangeiro, emitindo actualmente em Angola, Moçambique, França, Mónaco e Andorra. O Q ganhou ainda o Ouro no Festival do Clube dos Criativos pelo trabalho de rebranding da sua imagem.

E ao quarto ano, fez-se justiça e é hoje considerado o bastião da criatividade em português.

Gonçalo Félix da Costa começou por trabalhar na área financeira e na área de marketing estratégico em empresas de consultoria. Nos últimos oito anos, enquanto Director Executivo das Produções Fictícias, dedicou-se à produção de conteúdos para diversas plataformas, sobretudo para televisão, tanto nos canais generalistas como no cabo. É ainda co-fundador e administrador do Canal Q.

New competition from Germany to announce.

Why is it interesting? Because they choose 50 companies to exhibit for free for five days at the CODE_n exhibition area at Hall 16 CeBIT 2015.

The CODE-n contest in short:

•          Yearly “lookout for young entrepreneurs with fresh, unconventional business ideas”.
•          Run by the German IT consultancy GFT (which plans to build a digital community of “forward thinking innovators” and might use your application as an inscription) and partnering with CeBIT and E&Y.
•          This year’s topics under the title “Into the internet of things”: Digital Life, Smart City, Future Mobility, Industry 4.0.
•          Award: The 50 finalists will be invited to the CODE_n exhibition area at CeBIT 2015 (16.03-20.03.2015) and get the chance to present their business for the full five days. The winner gets € 30k prize money on top (previous winners here). (Participation for winners is obligatory for the whole five days and travel costs will not be paid. At short notice flight and hotel prices will be considerable higher than now.)
•          Application.
