Lecture Five Presidents Report
Lúcio Vinhas de Souza, alumnus (MSc Applied Econ '92), will be in the school next Wednesday – 23 September, 4p.m – for a lecture on the “Five Presidents' Report”, a plan for strengthening Europe's Economic and Monetary Union.
Since April 2015 he has been Economic Advisor to the Presidency of the European Commission, and before was the Chief Economist of Moody's.
Lúcio Vinhas de Souza completed his Masters in Economics at Nova SBE, an institution to which he still refers to as his "alma mater". He then completed a PhD in Economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Lúcio has several years of senior international experience in multi-cultural work environments. The macroeconomist has a strong background in monetary, financial and international economics, macro modeling, econometrics and statistics.
